Prayer Squad

"And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart." Luke 18:1

Our Purpose

As David was hungry to see the power and glory of God , the prayer squad is born out of the need to organize believers who have the same hunger and thirst to see the glory of God in this day and land with the aim of calling out to God in unison to bring about God power to do a great and new thing.

The prayer squad ministry is built up on the conviction that the Lord commands his people and the church to a life of continual prayer before him. Prayer is the blood line of each believer, church and country. Therefore behind a healthy Christian or church there is a vibrant prayer life.

The aim of the prayer squad is to motivate, mobilize and encourage believers to pray continually together for peoples, rulers and churches of Ethiopia, Eritrea and Sweden as well as to peoples of different generations. Though there needs to be a prayer offered collectively by gathering together and that is clearly seen in Acts 2, the prayer squad is more focused in calling believers to pray about various issues in agreement wherever they are at appointed times suitable for them.

How We Do

Every believer is encouraged to participate in the prayer squad. Once individuals are committed and indicate their time availability they will be given specific days in the week in groups so that they will be responsible to pray on the topic which will be agreed upon on weekly basis. These prayer topics are decided upon by the leaders and will be sent via emails and sms texts for each individual at the beginning of each week as well as on the specific dates they are committed to pray on. By this way a weekly rotation of prayers will be offered without interruption. Click here to view weekly prayer schedules.

Biannually there will be a gathering for teaching, training or encouragement in the churches to further equip the saints involved in this ministry.
