Our Purpose

As it is written in Revelation 1:3 reading, hearing and keeping the word of God is a central doctrine to our faith. Jesus in Matthew 22:29 had firmly rebuked the Sadducees for not knowing the word of God. In this light, the office takes the purpose of deepening believers knowledge towards knowing this word of God. As it happened in the early church mentioned in Acts, understanding this word creates a church that is united and equipped to perform the great mission.

What We Do

As Jesus setup a small group of disciples, the office also organize small bible study groups in different parts of the city. Individual members of the church are assigned by the office to a particular study group by considering proximity to their residential places. By creating these small groups, the ministry believes that members will be more connected to each other and will grow to know the bible more by having a fellowship together.

To achieve this great mission, we setup a monthly and yearly scheduled plan for these study groups to follow. These programs are executed by the designated leaders of the groups where the office provide them study books and notes. The office also takes the responsibility to oversee the different study groups that are taking place.

Getting Involved

As a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Church (JEC), every believer needs to get involved in one of the Bible study groups. List of study groups along with place and time of meeting can be found here.
